Examination
Examination involves assessing the neck and shoulders. Ranges of movements in all directions of the shoulder are assessed. Shoulder examination would compare the painful shoulder to the good side to establish what is normal for the individual patient. Examination mainly consists of three basic steps: looking, feeling and moving.
