SLAP Repair recovery
Following surgery, the arm will be rested in a sling and the outer dressing will be removed at 48 hours and the puncture wound must be kept dry for a week.
This will be protected by a watertight dressing.
The arm will be immobilised in a sling and this will be discarded around four weeks.
Milestone : full range of movement of the shoulder and elbow will be expected at eight weeks.
